KATY, TX – More than 200 athletic coaches from across the district packed the auditorium this July for the 6th Annual Katy ISD Athletic Coaches Leadership Academy, an immersive event designed to prepare and inspire leaders ahead of the upcoming school year.
Superintendent Dr. Ken Gregorski kicked off the conference before a full house, sharing uplifting words about Katy ISD’s investment in athletics and school leadership that support student success both on the field and in the classroom. Dr. Gregorski emphasized the importance of coaching as a leadership role and how athletics in Katy ISD contribute to the district’s reputation for excellence — citing strong academic performance, operational ratings, and a high standard of student experience.
