NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – We have one more day with extreme heat index temperatures before higher storm chances arrive, flipping the switch for the rest of the week.
Expect today to heat to the upper 90s. Feels-like temperatures will soar to as high as 115 degrees, so make sure you’re taking heat precautions and listening to your body.
But afternoon storms will arrive as a changing weather pattern knocks back our heat and brings higher chances for rain for several days…
