SPOKANE, Wash — The Spokane Police Department now has guidelines on how officers should handle an influx of calls about immigration enforcement.
Spokane Police Chief Kevin Hall wrote in a training memo that with federal immigration agents often concealing their identities behind masks and generic police gear and refusing to identify themselves, it has become increasingly more likely that immigration arrests could be misconstrued as abductions, or criminals could pose as federal officers.
