In a recent statement shared by the Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City, it was announced that Charles Meyers entered a guilty plea to First-Degree Murder in the death of his girlfriend, Krystal Praharnpap, resulting in a life sentence with all but 40 years suspended, followed by five years’ probation once released.
The incident occurred on December 17, 2024, when the Baltimore Police responded to a 7:45 p.m. call about a domestic disturbance at a residence on Quantril Way. There, they discovered Praharnpap unresponsive, and despite lifesaving efforts, she was pronounced dead at 8:50 p.m., according to the statement released by the State’s Attorney’s office.
Previous police data highlighted an alarming history of domestic strife at the address, with reports detailing ten prior service calls within the last year for disputes and assaults involving Meyers and Praharnpap, the night of the murder officers needed to force entry after attempts to coax Meyers to open the door failed, who then fled the scene on foot but was later captured near the Armstead Garden community…
