BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A man involved in a violent drug trafficking operation outlined in a 59-count federal indictment pleaded guilty in court on July 25.
50-year-old Juan Pierre Nation, of Birmingham, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and two counts of using a telephone to commit a drug trafficking crime. All three are felony charges. The first count could carry a sentencing of up to 40 years in prison, no less than five years, and up to $5 million in fines.
