FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The Fort Wayne Police Department has charged a 19-year-old suspect who was allegedly responsible for the shooting that took place on Saturday in northeast Fort Wayne.
Around 3 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the shooting in the 1800 block of River Run Trail, at an apartment complex on the city’s northeast side. They found 16-year-old Kardenai Anthony Hollis suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
