A tragic occurrence unfolded late Tuesday night when a motorcyclist lost their life on Chapman Highway in South Knoxville. According to the social media post from the Knoxville Police Department, the fatal crash involved a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
The incident occurred at around 11:20 p.m. near the intersection of Chapman Highway and Woodlawn Pike. Responding to the crash, Knoxville Police Department officers found that the motorcycle had struck the rear of a pickup truck, which was stopped at a traffic light.
