Michigan State Police to hold safety day for families

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State Police (MSP) is inviting the public to a free event they are calling “Safety Day” on Tuesday, July 29.

The event will feature 40 stations that include fingerprinting, a hidden-in-plain-sight display trailer highlighting substance abuse in teens and a child safety seat inspection station. MSP will also have a vehicle temperature demonstration to exhibit how dangerous hot cars are for kids.
