Zheng, a resident of San Gabriel, in connection with an ongoing and elaborate fraud scheme that targeted a Turlock senior and resulted in the theft of thousands of dollars.
The investigation began earlier this month when the victim contacted police to report being defrauded by individuals posing as representatives from well-known companies and government agencies.
