Pursuit in Hopkinsville leads to arrest of wanted suspect out of Tennessee

A Clarksville man wanted for attempted murder out of Tennessee was arrested in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon following a pursuit on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

According to the report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, officers received notification that a Flock camera had detected a vehicle that was connected to a wanted individual out of Tennessee on failure to appear and underlying charges of attempted murder-aggravated assault with a weapon.

Officers located the vehicle at Walgreen’s and when a traffic stop was initiated, the driver—identified as 32-year-old Jordan Hairston of Clarksville—reported failed to stop and attempted to drive through the median and into oncoming traffic.
