NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A historic $6.5 million settlement approved this week by the Metro Nashville School Board has sparked calls for accountability, with community members questioning how the district handles internal misconduct and how it communicates major decisions to the public.
In a unanimous 9-0 vote, board members approved the settlement during a meeting earlier this week, swiftly moving through the decision without board members discussing it publicly. The lack of transparency has left many in the community demanding answers.
