MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) – Three people were arrested after an attempted theft at the Academy Sports in Mt. Juliet.
The Mt. Juliet Police Department said an officer was patrolling the retail areas when they spotted a “suspicious vehicle” parked outside of the Academy Sports. The vehicle reportedly had its license plate partially covered by a plastic bag.
Just after the officer spotted the vehicle, a woman ran out of the sports store carrying merchandise. MJPD said she briefly hesitated to stop before trying to jump into the vehicle…
