SHARON HILL, PA — Two 19-year-old men are facing multiple charges following an investigation into a stolen firearm that began in March and led to the recovery of illegal weapons and narcotics across two counties, authorities announced this week.
According to the Sharon Hill Borough Police Department’s Investigative Division, officers responded to a residential theft complaint on March 18, 2025, involving a missing firearm. Through the course of the investigation, police identified Menai Princ Moody, of Upper Darby, and Mickal James Balkcom, of Philadelphia, as suspects in what officials describe as a coordinated theft and illegal transfer of the weapon.
On April 17, 2025, search warrants were executed at both individuals’ residences. At the Upper Darby address, officers recovered the stolen firearm as well as a quantity of illegal narcotics.
