Urgent help needed for ‘Oliver’ found hiding under car after his owner passed away

Ten-year-old Oliver has been having a hard time. The 18-pound, mixed terrier breed arrived at ACCT Philly as a stray. An APO officer found Oliver hiding under a car; he was injured, but made no effort to refuse the help, and despite his pain, he made no aggressive moves towards his rescuer.

At the shelter, Oliver was assessed by a vet where it was suspected that he had been hit by a car. The next day, his injuries were examined revealing puncture wounds and soft tissue damage to his leg. There was no evidence of fractures, but Oliver is still in pain; he needs a rescue partner to help him manage his pain and fully heal…
