Two men allegedly found with 8 pounds of meth in Santa Rosa hotel

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said Friday it arrested two men at a Santa Rosa hotel this week after seizing approximately 8 pounds of methamphetamine and firearms from them.

Hotel staff in the unincorporated area of north Santa Rosa called 911 on Thursday to report two unresponsive men who overstayed their checkout time, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies arrived and found two men in the room with “a significant” quantity of methamphetamine and a firearm.

Deputies found additional methamphetamine and another firearm after obtaining a search warrant for the hotel room and the vehicle and residence of one of the men, the sheriff’s office said. In total, detectives said they seized about 8 pounds of methamphetamine and two firearms…
