TOLEDO, Ohio — After more than two decades as a go-to stop for anglers in the Point Place community, Spot and Spam’s Bait Shop has announced it is closing its doors for good.
In a Facebook post shared Wednesday, the owners said they will not reopen this year, bringing an end to their 26-year run.
“We are very sorry to announce that we will not be open this year. We’ve had 26 great years thanks to all you loyal customers,” the post reads. “Our minds and bodies are tired and we must go on to our next journey. Hope to see you all in the future.”…
