CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Iowa’s News Now) — Heavy rainfall over the last several weeks has led to soggy grounds and now swollen creeks, streams, and rivers in eastern Iowa.
Flood Watches and Warnings line the Cedar River from Shell Rock to Conesville as waters rise just above flood stage over the next few days.
The Cedar will crest in minor flood stage over the weekend into early next week, which may prompt closures in low-lying areas along it.
