TEXAS (KDAF) — Everything is bigger—and —beautiful in Texas! According to a new report from home design company RiversWallArt.com, Austin and Houston have been named two of the 10 most picturesque American cities to live in, based on an analysis of over 895 million Instagram posts featuring location-specific hashtags tied to the most populated cities in the U.S.

Seizing the penultimate place in the rankings is Austin, with over 34.0 million posts. The quirky capital of Texas has a vibrant live music scene which has earned it the nickname ‘Live Music Capital of the World’. The city is also known for being the home of one of the largest universities in the country, the University of Texas, and for its urban bat population.
