Everything to know about Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Beer Festival in Ypsilanti

YPSILANTI, MI — The Michigan Brewers Guild’s 26th Annual Summer Beer Festival returns this weekend in Ypsilanti. The oldest of the Michigan Brewers Guild’s annual festivals runs on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26, and there will be more than 100 craft beers to try, live music, food and more.

Here’s everything you need to know, according to the festival, ahead of the event.

Where is the festival?

The festival takes place at Riverside Park, 2 E Cross St., in Ypsilanti. There will be no parking available at the park, but you can find parking in the surrounding area and nearby Depot Town.

When is the festival?

The festival runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jul 25, and 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 26. There will be a concert Saturday by Keller and the Keels from 7 to 10 p.m.

What’s the weather forecast for this weekend?

After a chance of showers Friday morning, it will dry off and heat up in the afternoon for the start of the festival. There is a high of 87 degrees Friday, though it’s predicted to cool off to the lower 70s over the course of the evening, according to the National Weather Service.
