BALTIMORE, MD—Maryland Governor Wes Moore announced Friday that British luxury car manufacturer McLaren will establish its first U.S. vehicle processing center at Tradepoint Atlantic in the Port of Baltimore, a project representing more than $10.5 million in investment and expected to create over 20 new jobs.
The 50,000-square-foot facility, located at the revitalized former Bethlehem Steel mill site in Sparrows Point, will serve as a hub for inspecting, customizing, and preparing McLaren supercars for distribution to 26 dealerships across the United States. It is anticipated to open in late 2026.
“We are thrilled to welcome McLaren to the great state of Maryland,” Moore said. “This new facility at Tradepoint Atlantic in the Port of Baltimore will turbocharge Maryland’s economic engine, and is a vivid example of how we can create new opportunities by uplifting international partnerships and attracting foreign investment.”…
