Malden Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Drug Trafficking in Boston Federal Court

A Malden man has received a federal prison sentence for his involvement in a drug trafficking scheme, distributing substances including methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine. Logan Pierre, known as “LO,” was sentenced to 10 years in prison and five years of supervised release after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with the intent to distribute significant quantities of drugs. This sentencing took place in a Boston federal court, as reported by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Pierre’s indictment came in the fallout of an investigation that was helmed by the combined efforts of local and federal law enforcement. Pierre’s brother Isaiah remains at large, having evaded capture and contributing to the Pierre brothers’ notoriety in the Boston drug trade.

The investigation that snared Logan Pierre, began in the fall of 2023. When assessing the scope of his activities within the greater Boston area, authorities found that he was not only involved in distributing methamphetamine but was also tightly connected to further drug-related operations, allegedly alongside his brother Isaiah. Detailed in the announcement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Logan Pierre was implicated in at least five separate controlled purchases of methamphetamine, each amounting upwards of a pound before his arrest.

Support from the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Boston Division, the Malden Police, and the Revere Police was significant in unveiling the network that the Pierre brothers had embedded themselves within. Assistant U.S. Attorney John T. Dawley of the Organized Crime & Gang Unit led the prosecution efforts against Logan Pierre. During the search of his apartment an additional 1000g of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine was found, which only served to further substantiate the case against him…
