Girlfriend of missing Cleveland man found in Huron River indicted in his death

ERIE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A Cuyahoga County grand jury returned an indictment charging the girlfriend of a missing man found dead in the Huron River with murder.

Dy’mond Vaden, 32, is facing charges of murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence, gross abuse of a corpse and having weapons under disability for the death of her boyfriend, George Cox, Jr., 32.

Cox was reported missing on Nov. 8, 2024, and his body was found in the Huron River in May 2025

Cox was last seen on Oct. 18 in the area of Bosworth Avenue and Peony Avenue in Cleveland…
