Man charged in double-fatal Pembroke Road wreck indicted for vehicular homicide

The man who was arrested in connection with a wreck on Pembroke Road in May that resulted in the death of two women is now officially charged with vehicular homicide, after being indicted by a Christian County Grand Jury Friday.

Specifically, 30-year-old Isaiah Edwards of Clarksville is indicted on two counts of vehicular homicide when under the influence of drugs and one count of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a substance, third offense.

The collision happened on May 5, 2025 between a vehicle that Edwards was reportedly driving and four bicyclists in the 1000 block of Pembroke Road. Two of the cyclists, 31-year-old Marlene Martin and 34-year-old Rachel Hoover, where both rushed to Nashville hospitals but would ultimately die of their injuries…
