Seven thriving business opening stories renew Fresno’s economic vibrancy
Recent articles highlight a surge of new businesses opening in Fresno, reflecting a renewal in the local economy. These stories share a common theme of growth and diversification, as varied business types set up shop in different parts of Fresno. Two major thrift stores, Mission Thrift and Neighborhood Thrift, are expanding their presence in the city. Mission Thrift opens at the corner of Bullard Avenue, offering a wide range of items and supporting community services. Neighborhood Thrift opens a second location, focusing on clothing, to enhance job opportunities.
New businesses like Blue Moon Yoga & Wellness and Supri, a coffee and boba tea shop, set up shop in Fresno, broadening health and beverage options. Blue Moon expands its wellness offerings, while Supri transitions from a mobile truck to a storefront. An old Walmart building repurposes space for two new tenants, Chuze Fitness and Kids Empire, retaining its footprint with new services. Chuze Fitness plans a comprehensive gym, while Kids Empire brings entertainment for families. Rubio Ranchwear opens downtown, offering handmade leather goods and Mexican rodeo-style boots. It joins other retail efforts to revitalize parts of the city, aiming to create a vibrant community hub on Fulton Street.
