Midstate not free from E.coli troubles, samples show

(WHTM) — Central Pennsylvania’s waterways rebounded after a month of high bacteria, but not everywhere.

The Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association, which independently tests the watershed weekly for bacteria, advised against swimming in five locations across three counties after reporting its July 24 samples. It urged people to take caution near water in 11 other locations due to moderate levels.
