Loudon County Juvenile Center director resigns after facing termination for conduct issues

LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The director of the Loudon County Juvenile Center has resigned as he faced termination due to inappropriate conduct, according to his personnel file.

Kevin Curbow served as the director of the juvenile center for more than a decade. He was initially hired to work in the center as a Juvenile Justice Specialist in September of 2005, and in October 2024, he became the permanent director of the center, according to documents within his personnel file.

Records within the file state that he notified the department of his resignation on June 27, a few days before it was effective on June 30.
