NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A mother has been jailed for multiple counts of homicide in connection with a head-on crash in West Nashville last week that led to the death of one of her children.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said 35-year-old Karlisha Norwood was driving a 2011 Nissan Sentra around 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16 when she was involved in a crash on Harding Pike near Percy Warner Boulevard.
Authorities added that she had been “weaving in and out of traffic” while traveling east before crossing into the westbound lanes and colliding with a pickup truck.
