VIDEO: Teens in Custody After Early Morning High-Speed Chase from Sanford to Deltona

Three teenagers found themselves in custody after an early morning police chase that began in Sanford and ended in the neighboring county. ClickOrlando reported that the incident sparked off when the trio attempted to evade Sanford police, leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase into Volusia County.

The pursuit involved multiple agencies, with the Sanford Police Department initially attempting to stop the vehicle and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deploying its helicopter to track the vehicle’s movements. According to WFTV, Volusia deputies eventually intervened using stop sticks on Providence Boulevard in Deltona around 2:40 a.m., effectively disabling the teenagers’ vehicle and bringing the chase to a standstill.

After the vehicle was stopped, officials reported that the two 17-year-olds and their 16-year-old accomplice bolted from the car, fleeing into a nearby wooded area.
