Sugar ants (ghost ants) top the list in Port St. Lucie. These tiny invaders march through cracks in homes year-round like it’s their job. Fire ants nest in the soil, spreading fast. We had a traumatic incident when my son was two, where he stepped in an ant hill and was swollen from toes to knees; it was awful.
