ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport announced it will be performing live burn training for the aircraft rescue and firefighting teams. The training will also include fire and public safety first responders from across the Commonwealth.
According to officials, the live burnings will take place on July 28-30 and August 6-8. The training will be in Lot 18 near the air traffic control tower and Piedmont Airlines hangar.
