ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A predicate felon faces more charges after police say he threatened to shoot officers during their response to a domestic call on DeJonge Street.
Officers say they were responding to domestic call around 3:30 Friday morning when they learned the man involved, 35-year-old Ronnie Bridgewater, had a gun and threatened to shoot responding officers. One officer saw Bridgewater running and holding his waistband as they parked their patrol car at the corner of Remington and DeJonge streets.
That officer starting running after him, and says Bridgewater threw a loaded .22 caliber handgun on the ground. He was arrested on Clifford Avenue, somewhere between Conkey Avenue and Lill Street, and brought to the Monroe County Jail…
