A search-and-rescue operation for a 15-year-old male, missing since Wednesday morning in Watsonville, is underway in the Laken area off of Holohan Road.
About dozen search and rescue members were joined by nine Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies at a command post set up on Grimmer Lane early Thursday morning where some of the youth’s belongings were found on a dirt road in the remote agricultural setting.
