Southern California man sentenced for violent hate crime attack

A Ventura County man was sentenced to prison for a hate crime attack that left a man injured in Oxnard.

Teddy Poster Boyd, 49, of Oxnard, was sentenced on July 18 to two years and eight months in state prison for committing a hate crime battery, according to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office.
