Bedford couple’s day in court delayed again by Pegler sentencing postponement

MONROE — Thomas Kahle will have to wait another five weeks to get his day in court.

“I’m tired of the game,” said Mr. Kahle, who traveled Thursday afternoon for the sentencing of the Bedford Township man who drunkenly crashed into his house two years ago only to go home unfulfilled for a second time.

But while Mr. Kahle laid blame for Kenneth Pegler’s sentencing delay on defense lawyer Timothy Churchill, Monroe County Circuit Judge Daniel S. White accepted Mr. Churchill’s explanation of bureaucratic headaches dealing with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections from out of state…
