An officer-involved shooting erupted early yesterday morning on the 2200 block of South I-35E Service Road in Lewisville, following a multi-city police chase that ended with a fatality. The Lewisville Police Department (LPD) released a statement through social media, detailing the course of events that began just after midnight when an officer stopped a female driver on suspicion of a felony warrant.
During the routine stop to confirm the outstanding warrant, the suspect sped away, leading officers on a chase that spanned over several jurisdictions.
