LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock man Jonathan Cervantes, 38, was arrested Saturday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon over a cell phone, according to court documents.
According to court documents, Lubbock Police were called to a violent disturbance on Saturday where they met with a man who said that Cervantes asked to use his phone. When the victim refused, documents said that Cervantes showed a firearm that was tucked into his waistband and told the man, “I will shoot you over that phone.”
