SAN ANTONIO – He spent hours in a tree to avoid deportation, and today, the man from Guatemala learned his fate.
A federal judge said Raul Ical, who had already spent three months in jail, was given time served and was released to ICE agents to start deportation proceedings.
It was late April, after authorities say Ical ran from a vehicle during a traffic stop.
