HAWAII KAI, Hawaii (Island News) — An 8-year-old boy suffered a serious injury after falling off Koko Head Crater Trail while hiking on Friday morning.
The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) were dispatched at 7:13 a.m. on July 25 to rescue the boy who was hiking with his family. He fell from the trail and was unable to descend on his own.
The boy was airlifted from Koko Head to Honolulu EMS at a nearby landing zone. At the scene, they treated the boy who possibly injured his head…
