Family of DPW worker files lawsuit over alleged civil rights violations

wbff- fox Baltimore — The family of Ronald Silver, a Department of Public Works employee who died from heat stroke while on the job last August, is taking legal action against the city.

Today marks one week shy of a year since Silver’s death, and his family is filing a federal civil rights lawsuit.

The lawsuit alleges that the Department of Public Works engaged in intentional civil rights violations that contravene the U.S. Constitution.
