Dayton man indicted on multiple charges in connection to uncle’s murder during car ride

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — A local man has been indicted on multiple charges in relation to his uncle’s murder, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.

Prosecuting Attorney Mat Heck said that 27-year-old Damarez Jones is facing the following charges:

  • Two counts of Murder
  • Two counts of Felonious Assault
  • Two counts of Tampering with Evidence
  • One count of Discharge of a Firearm On or Near Prohibited Premises
  • Three counts of Having Weapons While Under Disability (prior offense of violence)

As previously covered, Paul Body, 42, was killed in a shooting reported to have been located in the area of North Main Street and Ernst Avenue just before 11:30 p.m.
