Second in command at MPD to retire

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The man second in command at the Memphis Police Department is stepping down, the Memphis Police Association says.

The MPA said that Assistant Chief of Police Services Don Crowe is retiring. He could be gone as early as tomorrow.

Crowe has been with the police department for over three decades, and on June 7, 2021, he was appointed to Assistant Chief of Police Services by Police Chief Cerelyn ā€œCJā€ Davis.
