BEAR, DE — Two teenage boys from Bear have been charged with felony offenses following an attempted vehicle theft early Thursday morning at the Christiana Meadows Apartments, according to the New Castle County Division of Police.
Officers responded to the 1500 block of Christiana Meadows at approximately 5:03 a.m. on July 24, 2025, after receiving a report of a vehicle break-in. Upon arrival, police discovered a Kia Forte with visible damage to the door handle, window, steering column, and ignition system—damage consistent with an attempted theft.
