A Columbia man and a Kansas City man are arrested following a pursuit that started in Boone County and ended in Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says it was around 7:00 Saturday evening when it received an alert about a pursuit originating in Boone County. Authorities reported the driver had swerved toward a deputy that was setting up spike strips.
The suspect vehicle was spotted headed on I-70, near New Florence, a short time later. Deputies tried to stop the driver, who was fleeing at speeds of more than 100 mph, driving recklessly, occupying both lanes of traffic, and forcing other drives onto the shoulder of the road…
