Heat advisory issued as temperatures expected to reach record high across the Lowcountry

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – With record high temperatures expected to reach across the Lowcountry over the next few days, the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for several local counties.

Colleton, Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Georgetown, and Williamsburg counties are under a heat advisory until 10 a.m. Sunday.

An extreme heat watch will be in effect from Sunday morning through Monday evening…
