Charleston’s carriage companies enhance safety measures amid weekend of intense heat

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — With dangerously high temperatures forecasted for the Lowcountry in the coming days, both humans and horses working outdoors are taking extra precautions to stay healthy.

Charleston and the carriage tour industry have implemented safety regulations to protect the four-legged workers.
