First Responders Called to Fiery Crash on I-90 in Ripley

A crash involving two tractor-trailers on I-90 in the Town of Ripley had first responders busy Saturday morning. Ripley firefighters were called to the eastbound lanes near the Pennsylvania state line shortly before 6:00 AM, with one of the vehicles fully involved in flames. In a Facebook post, Ripley Fire stated that the Chautauqua County HAZMAT Team also responded to assist with leaking fluids and spilled cargo. According to State Police Troop T, the drivers involved in the crash were a 54-year-old man from Miamisburg, Ohio and a 40-year-old man from Rochester. No injuries were reported.
