Suspect threw woman to ground, pointed gun at her before standoff with Horry County police, report says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A man taken into custody after a standoff with Horry County police on Thursday allegedly threw a woman to the ground and pointed a gun at her, an incident report obtained by News13 shows.

Officers responded at about 3:20 p.m. for a domestic dispute, the report shows. The woman said she and Michael Todd Craig, 55, had gotten into an argument over a “civil matter” that turned physical when he grabbed her and threw her to the ground.

When the woman landed, her elbow had gone through the wall and made a hole. The report notes she had bruising that was consistent with “being grabbed and/or hitting a solid object.”…
