BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Angola Prison Rodeo, where inmates compete in different classic cowboy events, is set for several dates in October.
Prisoners participate in rodeo events like convict poker, wild cow milking, bull riding and the Guts-n-Glory finale. Bands and food options will be available to attendees. Another draw to the event is the arts and crafts by inmates sold.
