OCONTO FALLS – The City of Oconto Falls Common Council approved a financial audit, heard about annexation and utility growth and reversed its decision from June on a state library grant during the July 8 meeting.
While the common council voted 3-2 to turn down a $26,500 grant opportunity last month, it voted unanimously to accept the grant, which provides funds for a study of library needs among local municipalities.
