Secondhand swapping: Stay in style and out of fast fashion locally

“It happened by accident,” Sami Hartong, cofounder of Swap Omaha, said when talking about the business’s origin at their last C U Next Tuesday Swap Meet. The monthly swap meet brings fashion, accessibility and community to the metro.

Locals eagerly flocked to Floors Floors Floors with their closet clean-out bins in hand and left with new-to-them statement pieces and wardrobe staples at Swap Omaha’s latests C U Next Tuesday event July 22. The swapping is simple; bring up to 20 items to swap, make a one-dollar donation per item you brought and you can take home as many items as you donated.

Each C U Next Tuesday event is held at Floors Floors Floors, giving the participants the option to browse through Shipment Vintage items while their donations are being sorted…
